I've been thinking a lot about the role of music in Leon's life. It’s tragic to see someone so young, with such big dreams, lose everything in an instant. L.J. had just auditioned for 8Ball and MJG, and from what I’ve heard, he was making waves with his talent. It's gut-wrenching to imagine how close he was to potentially changing his life and maybe even the lives of his family and community for the better. I wonder if his music could still make an impact. Maybe by sharing his songs or memories, it could bring attention back to his case and keep the pressure on for answers. If anyone in the community has access to his recordings, it could be a powerful way to honor his memory and remind everyone of the vibrant person he was and the loss we all feel. His story is a painful reminder of how senseless violence can cut short not just a life, but the endless possibilities that life held. Let's keep sharing and talking about L.J. until his family finds the justice they deserve.
