I can't stop thinking about how difficult this must be for the family who witnessed the tragedy firsthand. Celebrating Thanksgiving should be a time of gratitude and love, yet for it to end in such horror is unimaginable. It's a reminder of how quickly life can change. My heart goes out to those family members who were there, especially knowing they lost loved ones right before their eyes. It must be incredibly challenging for them to process everything that happened that day. I hope they have a strong support system to lean on during this incredibly trying time. Anyone know if there's been a public statement from them or how they're coping with the loss?

I’ve been following the tragic case of Michael and Ellen DeLoach, and one aspect that really stands out to me is the impact this has had on their close-knit community. Ellen was not just a survivor of breast cancer but also a celebrated artist in the area. Her paintings brought warmth and beauty to so many, making her loss feel even more profound to those who admired her work and knew her personally. The outpouring of grief from friends, community members, and fellow artists is a testament to the difference she made in people’s lives. It's devastating to think about the pain her family and friends must be enduring right now. I can't even begin to imagine what it's like for those who were there, witnessing such a horrific event. My thoughts are with them as they navigate through this incredibly difficult time. Does anyone know if there’s a memorial or gathering planned to honor her life and work? I think coming together to remember the love she gave and received could be a powerful way for everyone to start healing.
