Has anyone else been looking into the connection between Joshua DeBerry’s case and the spike in Savannah’s gun violence back in 2016? It’s so painful to think about how quickly a community can shift from feeling safe to being gripped by fear. Joshua was not just a statistic; he was a man loved by his family and respected for his work. While discussing the ongoing investigation, I wonder if there were any similar patterns or incidents around that time that might have gone unnoticed. Could there be witnesses who haven't come forward yet, or something that links multiple unsolved cases in the area? My heart goes out to his family and friends—I can’t imagine the pain of not having answers after so many years. It feels so important not to let his memory fade and to keep pushing for justice. If anyone has more insights, it would be good to hear them.
I’ve been following Joshua DeBerry’s case since it happened, and I keep thinking about that morning on East 49th Street. It's unsettling to imagine his neighbors waking up to the sound of sirens and realizing something terrible had happened so close to their homes. Joshua's family is likely reminded of that morning each day, and my heart goes out to them as they wait for answers. It’s hard to grasp how a person could be taken from their loved ones with no warning, in a place they called home. If anyone local happened to see or hear anything unusual, no matter how small it may seem, I hope they find it in them to share with the authorities. We owe it to Joshua and his family to not let this case go cold. Here’s hoping more awareness in the community can help bring forward crucial information.
