It's so haunting how someone can simply vanish without a trace, especially in a new country where they're just starting to settle in. I was thinking about Khanh Ngoc Trinh's case and the bit of info about him being seen in Oceanside. That area is pretty large, and it makes me wonder if he might have been trying to meet someone specific or if he got lost exploring. Since he was new to the U.S., he might not have had a solid grasp of the language or geography yet. Could there have been some misunderstanding or mix-up that led him astray? It feels like such a crucial detail might have been overlooked because it's easy to underestimate how overwhelming it can be to navigate a new place without knowing anyone. What could have drawn him to Oceanside, specifically?
