I read an article recently that mentioned how Brittani Brown was so active in her church community at St. Paul’s CME, and it made me wonder about her life outside of the tragic events we all know. From what I gather, Brittani was much more than what happened to her; she was a valued member of her community and someone who genuinely seemed to be making the world around her a better place. Her involvement in her church must have given her family and friends a lot of fond memories, even as they deal with this terrible loss. It's hard to comprehend that such a positive presence in the community became a victim of something so awful. For the people who knew her, I can't imagine what they went through during the trial, watching the person who caused this pain show so little remorse. I'm hoping that remembering Brittani’s life and all the good she brought into other people's lives might serve as a small comfort to her loved ones, despite the profound sadness of her absence.
