I was reading about the tragic death of Jeremiah Flemister, and I can’t stop thinking about what his family must be going through. It's so jarring to think that an everyday trip to the grocery store could end in such tragedy. Has anyone heard whether the store or the community has done anything to honor his memory? Maybe a vigil or something like that? It feels like these moments of solidarity can be so important for healing and remembering the person for who they were, beyond the circumstances of their passing. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved him.
