Does anyone have more information about Doug Reis's friends or social circle back in 2002? With so few details about where he might have gone or who he was with, I'm wondering if anyone from the Santa Ana area remembers hanging out with him around that time. It seems like someone might have seen or heard something, even if it seemed insignificant. Friendships, hangout spots, even rumors that were going around could be key. I know it's a long shot, but sometimes a small detail could open up new possibilities for the investigators. If anyone from those days is here, maybe they can shed some light on the last days before he went missing?

Has anyone else noticed that there doesn't seem to be much media coverage about Douglas Andrew Reis's disappearance? It's been over 20 years, and it feels like his case just didn't get the same attention as others. I know Santa Ana isn't the biggest city, but you'd think there'd be more public awareness campaigns or something. Maybe social media wasn't as big back in 2002, but that doesn't mean we can't use it now to help spread the word. Does anyone have ideas on how we might be able to bring more attention to his case after all these years? I'm thinking maybe a social media blitz or a virtual event to honor his memory and keep the search alive. Every little bit helps, right?
