Donte Chisholm, a 37-year-old Black man from Savannah, Georgia, was fatally shot late on the night of November 3, 2018, on the 200 block of West 61st Street near the Coastal Empire Fair. Savannah police were called around 11 p.m. and found Donte and his wife, Desiree Chisholm, both suffering gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. Both were taken to the hospital; Donte died and Desiree was critically wounded but survived.

Authorities identified 26-year-old Victor McMillar as a suspect and obtained arrest warrants on December 13, 2018. He was arrested days later with help from the Savannah Regional Fugitive Task Force and charged in Donte Chisholm’s killing with murder and with aggravated assault in connection with the shooting of Desiree. Prosecutors pursued malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault counts, alleging the shooting was part of a broader series of violent events that included another fatal shooting two days later.

Does anyone have information about Donte, Desiree, or the night of November 3, 2018?
