I’ve been following the case of Tredarrious Mitchell, and I just keep thinking about the courage his girlfriend must have had to come forward and identify the shooter. I can’t imagine how terrifying it must have been to witness such a traumatic event and then have to relive it while talking to the authorities. It must have taken incredible strength and bravery on her part. My heart goes out not just to Tredarrious’s family, but also to everyone swept up in this nightmare. Knowing that the man she recognized, “Baldhead” or “Chris,” was someone she had worked for in the past just adds another layer of complexity to the whole situation. It's deeply unsettling and shows the far-reaching impact of violence on the lives of those left behind.
