I've been following the tragic case of Sandra Renee White and her family, and I can't stop thinking about how devastating it must be for their loved ones. Sandra was evidently trying to do the right thing by asking Bailey to leave, probably hoping to protect her family and provide a safer environment for her children. It breaks my heart to think that such a brave decision led to this terrible outcome. Sandra did everything she could as a mother, yet the system couldn't protect her or her children in time. I believe more should be done to ensure that individuals in domestic abuse situations have better resources and protection, so we don't lose more innocent lives to such violence. For those who knew Sandra and Arkeyvion, remembering the bright moments and the positive impact they had might be one way to help with the healing process. Sandra was a respected nurse, and Arkeyvion was a talented student-athlete. Their legacies deserve to be celebrated amidst this tragedy.
