I was reading about Michael Ewing Delaney's disappearance and can't shake the feeling that his transient lifestyle might have played a big role in why there have been so few leads in his case. San Francisco is such a busy city with a significant homeless population, which might make it harder for people to notice if someone goes missing. Plus, there's so much movement in a city like that. It makes me wonder if Michael might have traveled to another area or even another city altogether. I’d love to hear if anyone has thoughts on where else he might have gone or how the transient community might remember someone like him.
Does anyone remember the local story from 2005 about Michael Ewing Delaney? I’ve been following his case ever since I stumbled upon it, and it’s baffling to me how someone can just vanish off the face of the Earth, especially in a bustling city like San Francisco. I was thinking about all the transient folks in the area back then and how challenging it must be for investigators to track someone without a permanent address. I wonder if there are resources or outreach programs aimed at helping transient individuals that could provide any clues about his last known whereabouts. It’s strange that there haven’t been any significant leads after all these years. Does anyone have insights into what might have been happening in SF around 2005 that made it harder to track missing persons like Michael?
