Hey everyone, I wanted to share some thoughts about the bravery shown by LaWarrior "Pooh" Gardner during that tragic incident. It’s absolutely devastating to think about the fear and chaos that must have filled those moments, but knowing he stood up to protect his sister and others speaks volumes about his character. The fact that he was juggling jobs as a correctional officer and a master barber shows how hard-working and driven he was. His dedication to his goals and his loved ones is truly inspiring. Does anyone else find it remarkable how someone so young could show such courage and selflessness? I can't help but feel a deep sense of admiration for what Pooh did during such a terrifying situation. It's a somber reminder of the good people in this world who put others first, even in the direst circumstances. My thoughts are with his family and friends as they continue to cope with such a tremendous loss. ?

I can’t get over the bravery of Gardner. It’s truly inspiring and gut-wrenching to think about the selflessness he showed. Here was a young man, full of potential, balancing two demanding jobs as a correctional officer and a Master Barber, yet he never hesitated to put his life on the line for his sister. It says so much about his character and the love he had for his family. Knowing that there was a violent intruder and still stepping in to protect others shows a level of courage most people can only aspire to. You can sense the respect and admiration everyone around him had—from co-workers to clients at the barbershop. Losing someone so young and full of promise is an immense tragedy for the community. Let’s hope that through remembrance and efforts like his family’s Christmas initiative, his spirit continues to inspire us to be better and kinder to one another. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
