I just wanted to share some thoughts on what Kenya Moffett must have gone through during the tragic event involving Dequario Thomas. I can’t even begin to imagine the fear and panic she must have felt being in the vehicle when those shots were fired. Her quick decision to drive straight to the hospital under those terrifying circumstances shows incredible presence of mind. It’s understandable that she didn’t stop at the Law Enforcement Center; a situation like that would make anyone think of their immediate safety first. I'm just relieved she managed to stay safe, but my heart goes out to her as she navigates the emotional aftermath of witnessing such a traumatic event. It's a reminder of how deeply these incidents affect not just the victims, but those who are close to them as well. Sending strength to Kenya and all who knew and loved Dequario.

I hope the legal system provides clarity and justice for Dequario and all affected by this senseless tragedy.
