I'm new here and I've been following the tragic case of Jasma Nicole Patterson for the last few months. Her story is just so upsetting, and my heart really goes out to her friends and family who must be going through so much right now. One detail that really struck me was Jasma's educational background. She was a former student at Clarkston High School and later attended Georgia State University. From everything I've read, she seemed to have so much potential and ambition. It’s so devastating that her life was cut short just as she was starting to make her mark in the world. It makes you reflect on how these domestic violence situations can steal away bright futures, affecting not just the victims but everyone around them. Are there any organizations that were involved in raising awareness about domestic violence in Atlanta after this happened? I think sharing information and resources might help prevent another tragedy like this. If anyone has insights or knows of ways that we can support efforts in memory of Jasma, please share.
