Has anyone else been following the case of Charod Hudson? I’ve been thinking a lot about how seemingly “ordinary” places can suddenly become sites of violence, like the 400 block of Gus Street. It must be incredibly difficult for the residents of Thomson to reconcile that their neighborhood was part of such a tragic event. I can’t even begin to imagine how Charod’s family is holding up through all of this. Seeing the arrest of Marquavious Burley, I'm reminded of how complex these investigations can be. I'm curious about what the community’s response has been—are there any local efforts or discussions to address gun violence following this awful incident? It would be heartening to hear that people are coming together in a positive way amidst such sadness. If anyone has more updates or insights, I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts.
