I've been thinking a lot about the impact on communities when something like what happened to Asia Monique Jackson takes place. It's been over three years now, and her killer is still out there. The silence is deafening, and I just can't imagine the pain her family and friends must be going through, waiting for answers and justice. I grew up not far from Stone Mountain, and the news about Asia really hit home. It's terrifying to think that this happened in broad daylight, in a place where people should feel safe. I hope anyone with any information comes forward because Asia's story is one that shouldn't be forgotten. It’s so important for us as a community to support one another and bring attention to her case. Maybe someone remembers something, even the smallest detail could make a difference.
