Hi everyone,
I've been following Andrew Patrick Tan's case, and something that's been bugging me is the possibility of him being taken to the Philippines. There's not a lot of information on how that might have happened or who could've taken him there. Has there been any mention of ports or flights being checked back in 2008? It seems like a huge undertaking to move an 8-year-old internationally without leaving a trace.
Also, I've read that Interpol can be involved in cases like this, but there's barely any news on international efforts to find him. It's baffling to me that there hasn't been a bigger connection made across countries, especially given the considerable Filipino community in the U.S. and the Philippines. I'd like to know if authorities have any leads, or if this is purely speculative.
Hoping for any insights you all might have!
Stay safe out there.
Has anyone else been following Andrew Patrick Tan's case lately? I came across it in the missing persons section and couldn't get it out of my mind. I’ve noticed that despite being listed on numerous databases like NamUs and the California Department of Justice, there hasn’t been much media coverage over the years. It raises the question of how many cases fly under the radar just because they don’t receive enough media attention. I wonder if there’s a way to bring more awareness to older cases like Andrew's, especially since the trail might lead overseas. Maybe a renewed social media push could make a difference? Thoughts?
