Has anyone else heard about the name Franklin Jones popping up in local legends around Point Pleasant? Lately, I've been diving into some folklore and came across a few mentions of him in connection with the Mothman sightings. It's probably just coincidence or the result of people trying to make a connection where there isn't one, but I found it intriguing how quickly local stories tend to evolve and incorporate real-life events. Has anyone else noticed how frequently missing persons cases become a part of local lore—even in small ways? Maybe it's just another method communities use to cope with the unknown. Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone else has come across similar stories!
