I’ve been following the tragic case of Quantez Orel Williams and something that bothers me is how many of these senseless shootings involve disputes that could have been avoided. In this case, it sounds like the argument escalated so quickly. It’s incredibly sad to think that an argument among supposed acquaintances or friends resulted in such a tragic outcome. I can’t help but feel for Williams’s family, especially his mother, Angela Evans. It must be incredibly tough for her and the whole family not only to lose a son but under such circumstances. I truly hope anyone who knows anything comes forward so justice can be served, bringing some level of peace to his loved ones. These kinds of tragedies really highlight the importance of better conflict resolution, and it’s unsettling how taking a life has become an impulse decision for so many.
