I’ve been reading up on Gary W. Dinker’s case—so many gaps and questions left unanswered for so many years! One thing that stands out is the city itself. San Francisco's a big, bustling place, and it made me wonder: could a crowded, tourist-heavy spot like Fisherman's Wharf or Golden Gate Park have offered a place to disappear, or even witnesses who never realized they saw something important? It's strange how people can just vanish in such busy places, and yet, no leads? I've always thought these major landmarks would have more surveillance or passerby memories that might kick in over time. Has anyone else noticed how urban areas with lots of tourists sometimes have fewer clues in missing persons cases? I hope this post might reach out to someone who remembers just the tiniest detail. It's long overdue for Gary’s case to see some progress.
Has anyone looked into the area Gary Dinker was last seen in San Francisco? I'm curious if there were any surveillance cameras around back then that might have caught something. Even if they didn’t get much attention at the time, maybe a business or residential camera could hold a clue. It's strange that after all these years, there's still no trace or significant leads. If anyone knows the area well or has thoughts on potential overlooked spots, it might be worth discussing.
I recently came across the case of Gary W. Dinker and something has been bugging me. Does anyone know if there was ever any mention of his work life or any colleagues he might have interacted with? I feel like sometimes relationships at work can be overlooked in these kinds of cases as potential sources of information. Given how little is out there about his disappearance, I'm wondering if SFPD dug into his professional circle. It seems like such a long time for no leads to turn up—maybe back then someone saw or heard something at the office that didn’t seem noteworthy but could now be a piece of the puzzle. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
