Hi everyone, As I sit and think about all those involved in Faith Burns' case, I can’t help but reflect on the tragic significance of how Valentine's Day turned into such a devastating day for her family. It’s surreal to think that a day meant for love and connection now carries such a painful memory for them. Faith was a talented soccer player with a bright future, and it's hard to fathom the loss they must be feeling. I’ve been following the developments closely, and I am always wondering about the impact this entire ordeal is having on those young people who are now standing accused. Their lives are undeniably changed forever too. The choices they made that day have led to unthinkable consequences for Faith’s loved ones as well as their own families. I can't help but feel a moment of contemplation about what led up to this and how things could go so tragically wrong. I hope that justice can bring some semblance of peace to Faith's family and that this harrowing incident sparks more conversations about youth violence and support systems in our communities. Anyone else feel this way? Sending all my thoughts to the Burns family and everyone touched by Faith's life.
