I've been following the case of Mayco Rodrique, and it just breaks my heart thinking about his family. I can't even imagine what they're going through, and it's awful to think how his life was cut short in such a violent and senseless manner. I've read that this was the seventh shooting on metro Atlanta highways in 2021, and it just leaves me wondering what's leading to this increase in violence. Is it road rage? Or could there be something else at play? It's frustrating that there's been no arrest or suspect yet, and I really hope someone out there with information comes forward. The fact that Mayco was a father to six and a grandfather to two makes it even more vital that justice is served. His family's pain and sense of loss are unimaginable, and they deserve answers and closure. As a community, we need to be vigilant and support initiatives to reduce these highway shootings. My thoughts go out to Mayco’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
