I can't stop thinking about the gathering on Lawson Drive that night. It seemed just like any other evening, with people socializing and trying to enjoy themselves, but everything changed so fast. The escalation into violence is just so horrifying to me. I didn’t know Roman or Jeremiah personally, but I can’t help but feel for their families and everyone who was there. It must have been terrifying to be caught in the chaos when the shots were fired. How is the community holding up after this tragic event? It’s hard to wrap my head around how something so devastating can happen in a place that many call home. Has anyone else heard about any further updates from the GBI or local police on how they’re planning to prevent incidents like this in the future? My heart goes out to Roman's mother and his siblings; no family should have to endure such a loss.
