I recently stumbled upon this case, and it really hit me thinking about how it happened on a day meant for honoring sacrifices and spending time with loved ones. Memorial Day should have been a joyous celebration for Joel and Gerald and their families, but instead, it ended in tragedy. I can't imagine the pain and confusion their families went through, having their loved ones taken in such a senseless manner at what should have been a happy gathering. It’s frustrating to hear there’s been so little progress. It makes me wonder about what potential leads might have gone cold or if there were any small details overlooked that could turn into something significant. I’ve read about other cases where just one person coming forward with even the slightest piece of information finally broke things open. My heart goes out to their families, and I really hope awareness continues to be raised for Joel and Gerald. Maybe one day soon, someone will find the courage to say something and bring some peace to those who have been mourning for so long. Anyone who knows anything – even if it seems trivial – please consider how much it could mean to the families still hoping for answers.
