Has anyone else been following the testimony of the witnesses in the Davetta Mims case? I just read about a friend of Davetta's who took the stand and talked about how they spoke on the phone shortly before the incident. It's so difficult to hear how vibrant and full of life she seemed, just goes to show how quickly things can change. The fact that she had plans for later that week makes this even harder to comprehend. Just wanted to share that perspective, it's a reminder of the person she was beyond this tragedy. My thoughts go out to her family and friends who are reliving her memory through these proceedings.
