Has anyone else been struck by how Walter Edmunds seemed to just vanish without leaving any trace? The case has puzzled me for years. I live just a couple of towns over from Chapmanville and remember how eerie it was when the news first broke. There was this overwhelming sense of urgency from the community to find Walter, and everyone pitched in to help out. What I find particularly intriguing is how little information has come to light over time. Despite all the initial search efforts and media coverage, it's like he disappeared into thin air. I know there's been a lot of discussion about areas that were searched, but I wonder if there are places nearby that haven't been thoroughly explored. With his family still holding events to keep his memory alive, it's clear they believe someone out there knows something. Anyone here have theories on what might have happened, or if there's a particular lead that could still be looked into?
