I'm really troubled by the rise in violence in Macon, especially when you consider the impact it's having on families like Harriett Patrick's. It's so sad to think about someone being targeted while just going about their day. Her story is a stark reminder of how much work needs to be done to make our communities safer. I wonder if there were any surveillance cameras around the area where the shooting happened? Maybe they could help piece together what really went down. It's hard to imagine what Harriett’s family must be going through right now, and I hope anyone who knows something will speak up to help them find some justice and peace.
