I've been following the tragic case of Jaleel Rasheed Ali, and I can't stop thinking about his grandmother, Rasheeda Ali, and the incredible strength she's shown by founding "Grannies on Guard." It's so heartening to see someone channel their immense grief into helping the community and trying to prevent future tragedies. What Rasheeda is doing is not just remarkable, but so necessary. It's a stark reminder of how important grassroots efforts are in tackling the violence that sadly claims so many young lives. It’s devastating to know that there hasn’t been any progress in finding the person or persons responsible. My thoughts are with Jaleel’s family and loved ones who, on top of grieving, are waiting for justice. It’s a sad reality that we often see cases like these go unsolved, but community efforts like Rasheeda’s can hopefully bring about change and prevent another family from experiencing this awful pain. Sending strength and support to all involved.

It's devastating to think about Jaleel and all that he had ahead of him. His passion for basketball and dedication to his team must have brought so much joy to those around him, and now that's a future we'll never see realized. His story reminds us not only of the life cut short but also of the families and communities left grappling with unanswered questions. I’ve been so moved by his grandmother Rasheeda Ali and her determination in the face of unimaginable loss. Founding "Grannies on Guard" shows incredible strength and purpose, turning grief into a force for potential change. Supporting efforts like hers might be one way for us to contribute positively in honor of Jaleel, as we continue praying that justice will be served. It’s incredibly frustrating to see no arrests or suspects in the case. Keeping the conversation going is important, which is why I wanted to post and see if anyone else has ideas about how to support families dealing with these ongoing investigations or how we can push for more action in cases like Jaleel's. Hopefully, together, we can keep Jaleel's memory alive and work toward making his legacy a powerful call for change.

I’ve been following Jaleel Rasheed Ali’s case closely, and it’s truly devastating how much the community in Columbus has lost with his passing. He was so young, only 14, with his whole life ahead and such a bright future. What a tragedy that he was taken from us so soon. I couldn’t help but feel moved when I heard about Rasheeda Ali’s efforts to honor her grandson’s memory. "Grannies on Guard" is such a powerful initiative, and it’s inspiring to see her turning grief into action to prevent other families from experiencing such a terrible loss. I believe that community involvement is crucial in addressing gun violence and protecting our youth. It's disheartening that there are still no suspects or arrests in Jaleel's case. I hope justice is served, and I’ll continue to follow any updates. My thoughts are with Jaleel’s family and everyone impacted. How can we further support these local initiatives and push for positive changes in Jaleel’s memory?
