I've been following the tragic case of Jenny Lynn Andras Adam, and my heart truly goes out to her son, Camryn, and the rest of her family. As someone who has lived in Dawsonville my whole life, it's incredibly unsettling to see something like this happen in our community. We always think we know our neighbors, but sometimes we have no idea of the struggles going on behind closed doors. From what I've read, Jenny was such a loving nurse and always brought so much kindness to her work. It breaks my heart to think of all the patients who must have benefited from her compassionate care who are now without her. I really hope this serves as a wake-up call that we need to do more to support those dealing with domestic problems. This tragedy hits painfully close to home and reminds us all to reach out and check on those around us. Crime and loss like this shouldn't define our community, but we must acknowledge them as real and present issues.
