Has anyone else been struck by the sheer number of shell casings found at the scene where Bruce Gaines Jr. was killed? Over 90 casings from four different weapons were discovered, which just sounds surreal to me. It's almost as if the shooters wanted to send a message—or perhaps they were trying to ensure there were no survivors. Either way, this level of violence is terrifying. It's frustrating that, despite the high volume of evidence, there still haven't been any arrests or clear leads. You'd think with that many casings, they could trace at least some bit of it back to someone. My heart really goes out to Bruce's family. I can't imagine what they must be going through, knowing that justice feels so far away. I'm curious if anyone else familiar with the area has noticed issues with security or if this incident has brought about any changes locally. We can only hope the ongoing investigation yields some answers soon.
