I was thinking about Terry Nelson today and how his murder still haunts the community and his family. It's so distressing to hear that these cases often get overshadowed by statistics or become just another number in the city's crime rate. Can we talk about the impact on the local community when something like this happens? I've read that people are often scared to come forward due to fear, which is understandable but tragic. How can we encourage a culture of safety and trust so that maybe, just maybe, someone will feel secure enough to share what they know and help bring some closure to families like Terry’s? Anyone else have thoughts or insights on how these systemic issues might be tackled?
