It's so tragic to think about how quickly things can escalate. Shana and Justin were such close friends that they even called each other brother and sister. It’s just devastating to think how a dispute could end in such senseless violence and loss. I can't imagine how Shana's family is coping with this, especially her children. Also, it’s interesting to see that the court ultimately charged Justin with voluntary manslaughter instead of murder. Do you think the fact that they weren’t really siblings but so close played into the jury’s decision at all? My heart goes out to Shana’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Would love to hear any thoughts on how community support can help prevent these tragedies in the future.
