I've been following the tragic case of Ivan Cordero and Geovani Cruz, and one detail that really stands out to me is how courageous Geovani's father, Juventino, was during the whole ordeal. It must've been terrifying for him to witness such a violent event and yet still manage to hide and protect his young child. I can't imagine the bravery it took to stay composed enough to call for help under those circumstances. My heart goes out to him and the entire family. It's beyond comprehension how they are coping with such a horrific loss while trying to maintain some semblance of normalcy for the younger ones. The community's support is vital right now, and I sincerely hope they find strength in each other during this incredibly tough time.
