I've been following the case of Shymel DaShon Drinks, and something that's really been on my mind is the location of the shooting. It's alarming how these attacks are happening near major highways, like under the I-20 overpass where Shymel was tragically found. This spot isn't just a random location; it's a place with a lot of through traffic and people passing by at all hours. It's terrifying to think about the possibility of being caught in the middle of something like this just because you happen to be driving nearby. Does anyone else think the location might have played a role in this case? Could it be that whoever did this thought they could easily flee the scene onto the highway or something? My heart goes out to Shymel’s family and friends who are left trying to make sense of all this. I hope the community can come together and help bring some answers to this senseless act.
