I want to touch on something truly concerning about this case—the fact that two of Christa's children were at home during the incident. I can only imagine the trauma and confusion they must have faced in those terrifying moments. It's so important that we don’t forget about these kids and the emotional support they will need moving forward. Witnessing something like this can have lasting effects on children, and I'm thankful that the state’s Department of Family and Children Services stepped in. However, as a community, we also need to keep thinking about how we can help. If anyone has information on ways to support these children, perhaps through donations or counseling services, please share. Let's keep them in our thoughts and offer whatever help we can.
