I was recently reading about the tragic case of James Muldrow, and it’s truly distressing to think about the circumstances that led to his passing. What really sticks out to me is how this occurred in an area like Turk and Hyde, which has long been notorious for violent crime. It makes me wonder what more could be done to improve safety for everyone in these neighborhoods. Are there enough resources committed to this? And why aren’t there more frequent community outreach and support measures? It pains me to think about the family and friends who are left in the dark, not having the closure they desperately need. Even though years have passed, my heart goes out to them, and I hope someday they will find the answers they deserve. Does anyone have thoughts on what actions the city could take to better address these issues?
