Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the situation involving Lisa Blanton and it's honestly quite unsettling. I've been thinking a lot about the forensic side of things lately. Does anyone else find it strange how James Riley Williams IV was initially only detained for possession charges despite the scene's seriousness? I know protocol can vary, especially when both parties at a scene are injured, but I wonder what the officers were considering when they just went with that initially. Did they not have enough evidence at first, or was there something else influencing their decision? It's really perplexing to me how investigators piece it all together right there on the spot. My heart goes out to Lisa’s family—it must be so tough dealing with questions on top of their loss.
