I’ve been thinking a lot about the witness testimonies in Antonio Harris's case and how crucial they were in securing a conviction. It must be so difficult for friends or even strangers who witnessed such a terrifying event to come forward and speak in court. Sharing something so painful to relive takes an enormous amount of courage. Their bravery brought a bit of closure to Antonio’s family, I'm sure, by providing the truth about what happened that night. It’s a reminder of how important community support is in these investigations. Does anyone else have thoughts on how witness support programs can be strengthened to help people in these situations? It seems like such an essential part of the justice process.
