I've been following the tragic case of Robert Lee Walker, and it truly is a somber reminder of the struggles many families face when seeking justice for their loved ones. One aspect that caught my attention is the community's relationship with the police during the time of his murder. It's well-known that cooperation can make or break an investigation, and it makes me wonder if more community outreach could be the key to getting vital information in cases like Robert's. From what I understand, there was a significant trust gap back in 2013, which has hampered many investigations. It must be absolutely frustrating for both the families and the detectives working tirelessly to find answers. I really hope that efforts to bridge this gap have improved since then. Does anyone here know if there have been any successful community-police initiatives in Baltimore since that time? It would be encouraging to hear about any positive developments that could reignite hope for justice in this and other unsolved cases. My thoughts are with Robert's family and everyone affected by this senseless violence.
