Hey everyone, I've been diving into the case of Terrance Parker and couldn't help but notice a troubling trend around the use of surveillance cameras in these investigations. There was reportedly a camera near the scene on East Monument Street, but it seems like the footage, if there was any, hasn't led to any breakthroughs. I mean, having cameras should ideally deter crime, but they also need to be effective in capturing useful information and aiding investigations. It's just frustrating to think that Terrance and others like him might have had some hope for justice if the technology we rely on were more impactful in practice. It's a grim reality when neighborhoods have to depend on cameras to feel somewhat secure, only to find out they often don’t offer the evidence needed. Praying for more effective measures to combat the crime rate and for the families to someday find closure. Stay safe, everyone.

I've been thinking about the surveillance camera that was nearby during the tragic shooting that claimed Terrance Parker's life. Cameras can be both a blessing and a curse. In areas like East Monument Street, where crime rates were already high, having eyes on the street seems like it should be a positive thing. But did it capture anything useful in this case? It’s baffling and frustrating to think that even with technology on our side, justice still hasn't been served for Terrance and the other victims. It must be so difficult for the families involved to know there might have been footage that could provide answers but hasn't led to any resolution yet. My heart goes out to them as they continue to seek closure and justice in such a challenging climate. Let's hope that somehow, the truth comes out and these cases can finally see some progress.
