Has anyone else been following the case of Eddie Figueroa? I've been thinking a lot about how the community is affected by this kind of violence, especially when it's so close to places most of us consider safe, like a Walmart. The panic and chaos during the shooting must have been terrifying for everyone there. Eddie seemed to have been doing something promising with his clothing line, and it's just such a waste to have his potential cut short this way. I really hope that the police can piece together what happened and that someone with information comes forward. It's hard to understand the senselessness of it all, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who are left trying to cope with such a tremendous loss.
