Has anyone else looked into the weather reports for Kill Devil Hills around the time Sonya went missing? I remember reading that she mentioned heading somewhere "warmer." North Carolina in early September can be unpredictable, but I wonder if she was planning on traveling a significant distance. I've tried to pinpoint any particular regions she might have been referring to, maybe areas where the temperatures were notably higher around that time. I feel like this could be a key detail that we're overlooking. Maybe she had friends or acquaintances living in a warmer climate that we haven’t considered yet. Anyone have insights or thoughts on other locations that might fit what she said?
