I can't stop thinking about the area where Zayveion was killed. The 29th Street neighborhood, near the North Recreation Center, seems to be a place where a lot of people gather, especially young folks playing sports or hanging out. It’s hard to wrap my mind around something so horrific happening in a place meant for community and connection. I hope we can all come together to support those who loved Zayveion, and also work towards making our community a safer place. It's important to remember that places like the 29th Street Gym should be about growth and camaraderie, not fear. Let's keep discussing ways to make a difference, not just for Zayveion, but for everyone in Columbus.
