I was reading through some old cases, and Devin Hardy's story really stuck with me. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family must have felt. Just being another young person caught in a tragic cycle of violence that seems to never end in some parts of Baltimore. What do you guys think about the role of community in these investigations? Do you believe enough is being done to empower people to come forward with information, or is there still too much fear of retaliation? I feel like community trust is really pivotal but also such a complicated thing to navigate, especially with a case like this where there were no immediate arrests. It’s a devastating reminder of the uphill battle in addressing gun violence and how important it is to find ways to bridge the gap between residents and law enforcement.
