I've been thinking about the impact that Clyde Tyrrell Neil's case must have had on the people who were in the bottle club with him that night. It's hard to imagine the shock and fear they must have experienced when Clyde was shot. Were they questioned enough? Did they see or hear anything unusual? It's just so frustrating and sad that no one has been held accountable after all these years. It's possible, too, that some of those witnesses might have moved away or lost touch with the case as time went on, but maybe someone out there remembers something that they didn’t think was crucial back then. I just hope that anyone with even the smallest piece of information comes forward. For Clyde’s family, who have been carrying this burden for years, and for his community, it would mean the world to finally have some answers and see justice served.
