Has anyone else looked into the details of Diane Patisso's case regarding the aftermath for the families involved, especially in terms of how they've coped with the lengthy duration of the legal proceedings? It must have been so challenging for Diane's family and the other victims' loved ones to endure such a prolonged fight in court. The verdict and subsequent debates on the sufficiency of the evidence must have kept reopening old wounds. I can't even imagine the emotional toll it would have taken on them to keep going through the motions for nearly a decade until Serrano was finally sentenced. And then to have the whole issue of his extradition hanging over their heads must have added an extra layer of distress. It's a long time to live with such a heavy burden on top of the initial grief. If anyone has more insight into how the families have managed over the years, I'd be really interested to know. It seems like a testament to their strength and resilience.
