It's been on my mind lately how terrifying the concept of "body count" competitions among gangs can be. I came across the case of Kiem Huynh, who was killed during a robbery by the BACC Street Crips, and it really struck a chord with me. The gang's actions seem almost incomprehensible—this isn't about money or survival; it's pure callousness. I can't imagine how deeply this must have affected his loved ones, knowing his life was taken as part of some twisted game. It’s so important that cases like these are remembered, not just so we honor the victims, but to raise awareness about the broader issues that allow such violence to persist. I hope Huynh's family has been able to find some peace and support through the incredibly difficult process of seeking justice.
