I was just reading about Captain Chad Reed's case and couldn't help but wonder about the impact this tragedy must have had on his family and colleagues. It's clear from the reports that Captain Reed was a dedicated officer who touched many lives in his years of service. I can't imagine the void his passing has left in the community and for his family, especially his wife and kids. It's heart-wrenching to think about the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers every day, and this case really brings that home. Sending my thoughts to all who are still healing from this loss.
