Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the community's response to Ashley Smith's murder. What really stands out to me is the way the Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church has rallied around her family. It’s clear that Ashley was a beloved member, and the support from her church community must have been invaluable during that incredibly difficult time. I wonder how we can better support communities like Fort Pierce in the aftermath of such tragedies. It's heartening to see so many people come together, but I imagine there are still ways we can provide continued support and healing for her family and the entire community. Anyone have thoughts or examples of other communities doing something similar?
