I've been looking into the case of Ernest Demory, and something keeps nagging at me—the lack of media coverage. For a case with an elderly missing person, you would expect more public attention, especially given his vulnerable status as someone living in a group home. Was there ever an organized effort to get his story out there by family or friends? Sometimes media exposure can make all the difference in keeping a case alive in the public's mind. If anyone knows more about attempts to involve local news or social media campaigns back in 2016, I'd love to hear about it. Does anyone know if the area around Highway 85 where Ernest went missing had any CCTV cameras back in 2016? I imagine a lot could've changed since then, but it might be worth digging into whether any local businesses had footage that was overlooked. It's frustrating thinking about how many times these investigations can hit dead ends just because of a lack of digital evidence.
